MH Performance Horsemanship offers a variety of services from lessons& training to show prep and clinics.
Not in my service area? Not a problem, I am happy to travel longer distances for groups of 3 or more and I also offer virtual lessons! Scroll down for more information!
Lessons/ Training sessions
CLINICS
No trailer? No problem! I travel within 45 minutes of Gray Maine- lessons/ training sessions within this radius are $90/ hour. Special pricing is available for multiple hours/horses.
If you are outside of the 45 minute radius I will still travel, however there is an additional travel fee.
***You MUST have a safe space for lessons and training.***
You don't need an arena, but the area must be clear of debris, hazards and have decent footing (no giant holes or rocks). I am all for getting horses exposed to different terrain, but to start I need a place that's comfortable for the horse to work.

I am available for clinics across New England for 2025.
1-4 day clinics are available. All clinics can be done on the ground or mounted, with any age/ level of horse. Riders must be able to safely ride on their own.
I offer the following clinics at this time, travel fee dependent on distance. Host is responsible for all travel/lodging fees. Host retains all audit fees (recommended charge $25-$30/ person/ day)
One Day Clinic- $1,200
Two Day Clinic- $2,100
Three Day Clinic- $2,800
Four Day Clinic- $3,300
Confidence Building Clinic- This clinic is best suited for horses and riders looking for help managing confidence issues, anxiety or problematic behaviors. This clinic has a heavy focus on ground work and ridden work is optional. Max 8 participants
Intro to Bridle-less Riding Clinic- Learn how to set your horse up for bridle-less riding! We work with the bridles on to start and teach the horse how to respond to a neck rope. As we progress riders can drop bridles as they please. Round pen or smaller riding space is preferred for this clinic. Riders each do a private 45 min session in the morning and afternoon.
Max of 6 participants.
Intro to Obstacles- how to safely introduce horses to obstacles/ versatility courses while building confidence. Max of 10 participants
Obstacles/Versatility course work- for those whose are comfortable with working an obstacle course and would like to focus on more challenging obstacles and maneuvers. Max of 10 participants
Horsemanship 101- A clinic focused on building connection and relaxation with your horse while working on the ground and how to translate that to ridden work. These clinics are great for young horses, new horse and rider pairs, or those that have horses with anxiety or other issues. Max of 8 Participants

Virtual Lessons
Virtual lessons are available to all! We can connect though Pivo and if you do not have that as an option here is how they work:
1)Contact me! Tell me about the issues you're having & once I've responded record yourself riding or doing ground work.
2) Upload the video to YouTube (free to do so) and email me the link with a description of what you would like to help with or what you're looking to improve on.
3) I will do a write up or voice over for you and can provide video demonstration depending on what your preference is. In this I will outline the issues I see and give you the tools to fix them/ exercises to work on.
Payment can be made via Venmo or PayPal. Pricing ranges from $65-$100. Payment must be received by the time you send the link.
